Contary to what many people beleive, their may be some things about Assumption College others may not know
Many people continually critisise Assumption for giving out Sporting scholarships, which we dont. Our fantastic team spirit and never say die endeavour are big factors in our tremendous records, which is why many former studnets return. Secondly, singing the traditional war cry at 3 quater time. There are plenty of other well known schools whom do the same, this sort of thing has been going on for over 100 years. Lastly Assumption have never had the pleasure of being the hunter, rather being the hunted. And their amazing record to defy odds realy speaks for their endevour and their continued commitment to come back from seeminglly impossible possitions. And even agaisnts schoolarship schools (some of which have football as a subject) they are able to defeat them. And for some schools all they want to do is beat Assumption and they will do anything to do it.
